Shorthand is an amazing project. I am currently playing drumset for the group. Shorthand is heavily electronic based, with computers and triggers, but has a very well orchestrated live side with guitars, keyboards, and drums...very cool stuff!
Neurotic City is the partying evil twin of Shorthand. Neurotic City is an 80's cover band, playing songs that everyone knows, but forgot how fun they were to dance to. We are currently playing private parties and corporate events around Los Angeles.
The Procrastinators, Inc. is an entertainment group with several faces - urban percussion groups, stage performance groups, drumlines, and coming soon, a dj/percussion group. I've had the opportunity to co-produce and sound design several stage shows for The Procrastinators. They're a very professional, very serious group. By "professional" and "serious," I mean extremely fun and awesome to work with.
Jenni Alpert is a wonderful singer and songwriter. She has a very hauntingly comforting voice, great songs, and a base of very talented musicians. Jenni tours quite extensively, so she will probably be in your town soon. I highly recommend seeing her perform live.
The Novo Philharmonic is an amazing organization. I have had the opportunity to perform, record, and network with some of the best musicians in the world. Novo has grown into a 100+ piece orchestra, that is young, hip, and not afraid to take the typical orchestra ideal to places usually reserved for jazzers, rockers, and electro-heads.
